    Belts

Any quality leather belt will work. The cheaper, thin ones will get soft very quickly and roll and not support your holster.

There wasn't much chance of that. He wasn't even considered a danger. Not disarmed or handcuffed during the entire incident.

Voters may see guns at polling places

oh I forgot to update this. The plaintiff received a decent settlement from the defendants. The county voting board has been re-educated as to their power. The lawyer that filed the suit on behalf of the plaintiff says: "Congratulations to Clay on the successful resolution of this litigation...

Some Good News! CNN Cancels 'Piers Morgan Live'

One of the excuses the NYT raises for the canning of Piers Morgan is because America doesn't like his foreign accent? I'm pretty sure his accent had nothing to do with it. We like Jeremy Clarkson and he sounds foreign. I'd watch the news every day if it were co-anchored by Frye & Laurie. I...

The story of my ICL and PRK corrective eye surgeries

I had PRK done 8 years ago. It. Was. Awesome. Went from 20/400 to better than 20/15 in both eyes within an hour. Took a week to heal completely though. Did not have the recovery of several months like you had. Still at least 20/15.

Any good Revolver holster with a retention feature?

In this weather, the 6" is concealable, too! Open carry is an option in Virginia as well :) (not meaning any disrespect toward your revolvers, only giving you an excuse to buy another. I'm sure a 4" .357 is in my future as well.) :favorites13:

    Who Likes 1911's

Finally got my 5" Ruger today. I've liked Rugers since I got a single six when I turned 7, so when Ruger announced theirs, I put it on my "Gonna buy" list. Sorry no pic. It looks like all the others. I plan to take it to the range next Saturday if it's warmer than 30.

    Ruger 22/45

I have the previous version of the same 5" bull barrel pistol. Great gun. Don't need to worry about the mag disconnect, but the volquartsen accurizing kit was a great investment. I'll have to look into that holster, as I haven't gotten around to buying one for mine. Does the holster extend...
