brown bear 223

Sportsman guide has brown bear 223 Remington 260 rds for 70 bucks. Has anyone fired these? I just don't want to buy garbage I know nothing about these rds. Thanks, Concealed 27

Dirty but shoot fine. Some ranges don't like steel cases. I keep my gun wet ( well oiled ) when running steel.

Yeah me too I keep my ar pretty well oiled anyway..... thanks for letting me know brother, I appreciate it kwo....

I've had very good value/quality results with Silver Bear fodder in both 223 and 308, (and I know guys that run it in 7.62x39)

That being said, I have never seen a serious issue with 7.62 Brown Bear but most are running it in AKs and SKS rifles. And I have run the 223 in my DR200 and it worked, but just wasn't real consistently accurate, which may open up your groups a little.

Buy a few boxes and see if your AR will run it. If so, then get some for cheap plinking ammo.

The 62 gr version of Brown Bear is pretty durn accurate.
